Revenue generated for Third Nature is based on sales made from Music Money Post-Recoup, and is supplemented by Membership Dues.
Third Nature supports Artist-Members in the release of recorded music in digital and physical formats, live performances, and accompanying media projects. Ideally this support is given as a loan to artists, for pressing, advances, recording budget, PR etc, however can also be provided as labour from Contributor Members (particularly during initial startup). All revenue generated from media and performances is paid to the label until the 'loan' costs are paid back.
Once the label is paid back, revenue is then split 60-40 between the label and artist respectively. Crucially, Artist Members then get a say in how the label share is spent and are paid an equal split of profits with other artists.
Membership Dues for Community Members are functionally similar to a organisation "membership fee", and differentiates Community-Member from Fans. These Membership Dues are a fee that the co-op collects as operational income in exchange for membership of the co-op and its respective perks.
